1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnapVault ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. About SnapVault

SnapVault is a mobile application developed by BlazeApps that allows you to create time capsules for your photos. You can lock photos with future unlock dates, browse your capsules with an intuitive swipe interface, and unlock them on specified dates. The App helps you create meaningful memories to revisit in the future.

3. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BlazeApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for organizing and preserving your personal photo memories.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Anonymous Authentication

SnapVault uses anonymous authentication through Firebase. No personal account information or email is required. Your capsule data is stored securely and associated with your device.

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and data. Device loss or factory reset may result in loss of capsule data if not synced or backed up.

5. Capsules and Photo Content

5.1 Your Photos

You retain all ownership rights to the photos you store in SnapVault. The App accesses your device's photo library solely to display and organize photos within capsules. Actual photo files remain on your device.

5.2 Capsule Data

SnapVault stores references to your photos (not the actual image files) along with capsule metadata including names, unlock dates, and themes on our servers to enable cross-device sync and scheduled unlocks.

5.3 Backup Recommendation

We strongly recommend backing up your photos independently. BlazeApps is not responsible for photo loss resulting from device malfunction, data corruption, or unscheduled deletion.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free and Premium Tiers

SnapVault offers a free tier with basic capsule functionality and a premium subscription for unlimited capsules and custom themes.

6.2 Pricing

Premium subscription is available at the following prices:

• Monthly: $2.99 per month
• Yearly: $19.99 per year
• Lifetime: $39.99 one-time purchase

6.3 Subscription Management

All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their terms and policies. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription through your device's app store settings.

6.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy. Contact the app store for refund requests.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SnapVault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Store or share photos without the consent of all people depicted in them
• Use the App to store illegal, abusive, or harassing content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of SnapVault, including but not limited to the software, interface design, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of BlazeApps and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific purpose. We do not guarantee that scheduled unlocks will occur at the exact specified time due to device, network, or system limitations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlazeApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of photos, data, or memories, failed unlocks, or device malfunction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BlazeApps operates, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
