  • Capsule names and descriptions
  • Lock dates and unlock dates you specify
  • Capsule status (locked/unlocked)
  • Capsule creation and modification dates
  • Custom themes and styling preferences

2.3 Unlock Schedules

We maintain scheduled unlock times for your capsules to automatically unlock photos on the dates you specify.

2.4 Technical and Usage Data

We automatically collect anonymous information about how you use the App:

  • Number of capsules created and viewed
  • Navigation and browsing patterns
  • Device information (model, operating system, app version)
  • Error logs and crash reports
  • Analytics data (session duration, feature usage)

2.5 No Personal Identification

The App does not require account creation with personal information such as your name, email, or phone number. Capsule data is stored anonymously or associated with a device identifier only.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

SnapVault offers a free tier with basic capsule functionality and a premium subscription for unlimited capsules and custom themes. Subscription pricing includes:

  • Monthly: $2.99 per month
  • Yearly: $19.99 per year
  • Lifetime: $39.99 one-time purchase

All payments are processed through the app store. We do not store your payment information directly.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your capsule metadata and stored photo references. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain different types of data for varying periods:

  • Capsule Data: Stored for the duration of your account until you delete capsules
  • Photo References: Retained as long as capsules are active
  • Usage Data: Retained for up to 2 years for analytics
  • Crash Logs: Retained for up to 90 days

8. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Request access to your capsule data and metadata
  • Delete: Delete your capsules and associated data at any time through the App
  • Uninstall: Remove the App from your device at any time
