QuickNote Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuickNote ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App. BlazeApps reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. About the App

QuickNote is a voice-to-text note-taking application designed to help users quickly capture ideas, reminders, and notes by speaking. The App converts voice recordings to text using on-device speech-to-text processing, with no audio sent to external servers. The App includes text editing, folder organization, note search, and export capabilities.

3. Audio Processing & Privacy

IMPORTANT: All voice processing occurs on your device. Audio is never sent to BlazeApps servers:

Voice recordings are converted to text entirely on your device
Audio is discarded immediately after transcription
Only transcribed text is stored in your notes
Audio is never uploaded, stored, or shared with us or third parties

4. User Accounts & Authentication

QuickNote uses anonymous authentication via Firebase. You do not need to create a traditional user account with a username and password. Your data is stored securely and anonymously.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and access credentials
You agree not to share your authentication token with others
We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to your negligence

5. Microphone Access

QuickNote requires microphone permissions to record voice notes. By using this App, you agree that we may access your device's microphone when you explicitly initiate recording. You can revoke microphone permissions at any time through your device settings without impacting other app functionality (text notes will still work).

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Pricing

QuickNote offers the following subscription options:

Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
Yearly: $19.99 USD per year
Lifetime: $39.99 USD (one-time purchase)

Subscription Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You will receive a renewal notification before being charged. To cancel, you must manage your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store according to their respective policies. Subscriptions cancelled within the App Store or Play Store's refund window (typically 14-15 days) may be refunded. We do not process refunds directly.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information directly. RevenueCat may process subscription data for verification purposes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use QuickNote only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment. You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to hack the App
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or servers
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
Use the App to harass, threaten, or abuse others
Resell or redistribute the App or premium features
Attempt to bypass premium restrictions or payment mechanisms

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, design, graphics, code, and materials in QuickNote are the property of BlazeApps or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind. We make no warranty that the App will meet your requirements, be error-free, or uninterrupted. Use of the App is at your own risk.

Speech-to-text accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, and language. We do not guarantee 100% transcription accuracy. You should review and edit transcriptions as needed, especially for important information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlazeApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, transcription errors, or economic damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We may terminate your access to QuickNote at any time for violations of these Terms of Use or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may uninstall the App at any time. Data associated with your account will be retained according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California for the resolution of any disputes.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be posted in the App, and your continued use of QuickNote constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
